We’re all excited about the release of the brand new CheckPoints Toolbar that you can download for your browser here: http://mall.checkpoints.com/download. Did you know that you can use it to get CheckPoints for searching the web?

You get one point for each valid search, up to 15 a day!

Here are some helpful searching tips to make sure your searches are valid and that you keep earning those points:

1) Each search is counted only once, so if you search for the same thing twice, those additional searches won’t count.

2) Make sure your search terms make sense.  Nonsensical searches or searches that yield no actual results aren’t counted.

3) Make sure that you’re the one doing the manual searching. Searches that originate from an automated process or macroSearch patterns won’t be counted either.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you use the toolbar conducting valid searches you should have no problem. After being flagged, a single valid search will not necessarily count toward your number of monthly searches. Valid searches will begin to count again after a few days of conducting valid searches.
